1. What Pancho Is — and What It Is Not

Pancho Health (“Pancho,” “we,” “us”) is a self-help software tool that helps you understand and respond to your own medical bills. Pancho helps you organize information, spot possible billing problems, and prepare letters and documents from your information and general templates.

Pancho is NOT a law firm, is NOT a debt-relief or debt-settlement company, and does NOT provide legal, financial, tax, or medical advice. Using Pancho does not create an attorney-client relationship. You are always the author, owner, and sender of any letter or document you create with Pancho. You decide what to send, to whom, and when.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use Pancho. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You may add household members only if you are authorized to manage their medical bills.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Pancho for any unlawful purpose or to submit false or fraudulent information.
• Upload documents or information that you do not have the right to share.
• Attempt to access another user’s data, or to probe, scan, or disrupt our systems.
• Use Pancho to provide legal services to others or to hold yourself out as a lawyer.

5. You Are the Author and Filer

Every letter, dispute, application, or complaint that Pancho helps you prepare is yours. Pancho acts only as a scrivener — it helps you put your own information into a usable form. You are responsible for reviewing everything before you send or file it, for confirming it is accurate, and for deciding whether to consult a licensed professional. For complex matters or an active lawsuit, you should consult a licensed attorney.

6. Fees

During our friends-and-family period, Pancho is free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will disclose the price clearly and obtain your agreement before you are charged.

If we ever offer a savings-based service, our fee would be a percentage of the amount you actually save, disclosed to you in advance — and if you do not save, you do not pay that fee. See our Refund Policy for details.

7. No Guarantee of Outcome

Pancho can help you identify possible issues and prepare documents, but we cannot and do not guarantee any particular result — including that a bill will be reduced, a dispute will succeed, or a collector will stop contacting you. Outcomes depend on facts and parties outside our control.

8. Disclaimers

Pancho is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information it surfaces is complete or accurate for your specific situation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pancho and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which may be zero during the free period).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Pancho harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or any document you choose to send or file.

11. Termination

You may stop using Pancho at any time and delete your account and all of your data from Settings → Security. We may suspend or end access for any account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe poses a risk to other users or to our systems.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you and, where appropriate, ask you to agree again before continuing to use the service. The “Effective” date above shows the current version.

13. Governing Law
